At Just Russel, we’re building a high-performing direct sales engine that drives real customer growth through events, fairs, and activations. As a Field Sales Specialist, you are at the heart of this growth.

You are not just managing events, you are driving sales performance, coaching and motivating sales ambassadors, safeguarding the quality of our brand representation, and ensuring each event delivers a consistent and high-quality Just Russel experience. Your days are dynamic, hands-on, and performance-driven, with direct impact on the growth of Just Russel.

Job requirements

This is a permanent position with a preferred workload of 80% (4 days a week). Since our events primarily take place over the weekend, your standard working week includes Saturday and Sunday, with fixed time off from Monday to Wednesday. This role operates in a high-trust environment and requires a candidate who thrives on flexibility and the unique rhythm of the event industry.

Core responsibilities

  • Actively drive sales of our pet food subscriptions on-site alongside ambassadors at events, leading by example.

  • Drive operations of our events in Belgium, including booth setup, breakdown, and preparation of our activations.

  • Train, coach, and develop sales ambassadors to boost skills, performance, and engagement.

  • Contribute to a high-performing team by working closely with ambassadors and actively fostering a strong community.

  • Contribute to planning of ambassador event shifts, together with our Direct Sales Channel Owner.

What we’re looking for

  • You have proven sales experience, in a D2C environment as a strong plus

  • You are performance-driven and motivated by results and targets

  • You have experience in events (planning, booking, execution)

  • You know how to lead, coach and motivate students or young teams at events

  • You are hands-on, energetic and not afraid to take ownership on the field

  • You work structured and highly accurate, especially in administrative follow-up

  • You have a driver’s license and are willing to travel frequently across Belgium & the Netherlands

  • You have strong communication and time management skills

  • You have native/strong proficiency in Dutch
