At Just Russel, we’re on a mission to change the way we care for pets, through convenience, preventive health and data-driven decisions. Our ambition? Becoming the leading D2C European Pet Care company, excelling in customer-centricity, pet health, fun and convenience.
As #6 in the Deloitte Fast 50 Belgium, our rapid growth proves we’re on the right track, and we’re only getting started.
Your Impact
We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst to help make data a true competitive advantage at Just Russel. You’ll play a key role in turning data into insights that directly influence strategic and operational decisions across the business.
You’ll work in a modern Google-based data stack, alongside data engineers, analysts and data scientists, in a collaborative and fast-growing environment. This role reports to the Tech Lead and is based in Nevele (near Ghent).
From Data to Business Value
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
Analyse marketing, e-commerce and subscription performance (conversion, retention, churn, CLTV, reactivation, …)
Perform deep-dives into customer behaviour, pet health engagement and operational performance
Support and enrich predictive models and insights together with data scientists
Act as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making
Your Toolbox
Work with BigQuery, Looker and Looker Studio, and Python for advanced analyses
Build and maintain clear, reliable dashboards, from BI tooling to custom solutions (Streamlit, Dash, …)
Own and improve core company reporting (weekly/monthly reviews, KPI dashboards for marketing, ops, finance, product)
Collaborate closely with data engineering on data models, pipelines and analytics requirements
Experimentation & Measurement
Support A/B testing and experimentation from hypothesis to impact analysis
Define success metrics, guardrails and quantify business impact
Collaboration & Data Culture
Bring a growth mindset and can-do mentality
Share knowledge, mentor teammates and stay curious through collaboration
Help define and document data definitions, logic and naming conventions
Proactively flag data quality issues and contribute to sustainable solutions

4–5+ years experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, ideally in e-commerce, subscription or digital product environments
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a modern data stack (BigQuery, dbt, dltHub, Looker Studio, Streamlit or similar)
Comfortable working with marketing and digital analytics data (GA4, Meta & Google Ads, attribution models, funnels, cohorts, retention, CAC vs CLTV)
Experience with Python or R for deeper analysis is a plus
Solid understanding of modern data architecture concepts is a bonus

You enjoy working cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, finance and tech
Education & Language
Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
